This Service Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing your use of our tutoring services, including online and in-person sessions, website access, and related applications (collectively, the “Services”). Inlighten Tutoring provides educational tutoring services across various subjects and grade levels. Our services include, but are not limited to:
Services are provided based on tutor availability and scheduling. We strive to accommodate your preferred schedule but cannot guarantee specific time slots or tutor assignments.
To access our Services, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Our Services are available to students of all ages. For students under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must complete the registration process and agree to this Service Policy on behalf of the student.
You agree to provide truthful and accurate information during registration and to update your information as necessary to maintain its accuracy.
Tutoring sessions must be scheduled in advance through our booking system or by contacting us directly. Session availability is subject to tutor schedules.
Session hours will be charged if booked and not attended. After 3 no-shows, the full session fee will be charged for each subsequent missed appointment.
Sessions may be rescheduled in advance, subject to tutor availability.
If a tutor must cancel a session, we will provide as much advance notice as possible and offer alternative scheduling options or a replacement tutor when available.
Current tutoring rates are available upon request and may vary based on subject matter, grade level, session duration, and service type. All prices are subject to change with 30 days advance notice.
We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and other methods as specified during registration. Payment information is processed securely in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Services for any violation of this Code of Conduct.
We may conduct informal assessments to better understand student needs and track progress. These assessments are for internal use only and do not constitute official academic evaluations.
All materials, content, and resources provided by Inlighten Tutoring, including but not limited to lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, and proprietary methodologies, are our intellectual property and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without our written consent.
Students retain ownership of their original work. By using our Services, you grant us permission to review and provide feedback on student work for educational purposes.
For online tutoring sessions, you are responsible for:
We are not liable for session disruptions caused by technical issues on your end. If technical issues on our end prevent a session from occurring, we will reschedule at no charge.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this Service Policy by reference, to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Inlighten Tutoring provides Services on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Services or their outcomes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inlighten Tutoring shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services, including but not limited to academic performance, lost opportunities, or emotional distress.
Our total liability for any claims arising from the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for Services in the three months preceding the claim.
You may terminate your use of our Services at any time by providing written notice.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Services at any time for violation of this Service Policy, non-payment, or for any other reason at our discretion.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. All provisions of this Service Policy that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to payment obligations, intellectual property provisions, and limitation of liability.
By using our Services, you consent to receive communications from us, including emails, text messages, and phone calls related to your tutoring sessions, account updates, and service announcements.
We may send promotional materials and marketing communications. You may opt out of these communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided or by updating your communication preferences in your account settings.
If you have any concerns or disputes regarding our Services, please contact us first to attempt an informal resolution.
This Service Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from this Service Policy or the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Orange County, Florida, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify.
We reserve the right to modify this Service Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised policy on our website or notifying you through other means. Your continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. Material changes will be communicated with at least 30 days advance notice.
