1.2. Service Availability

Services are provided based on tutor availability and scheduling. We strive to accommodate your preferred schedule but cannot guarantee specific time slots or tutor assignments.

2. Enrollment and Registration

2.1. Account Creation

To access our Services, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

2.2. Eligibility

Our Services are available to students of all ages. For students under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must complete the registration process and agree to this Service Policy on behalf of the student.

3. Scheduling and Attendance

3.1. Session Scheduling

Tutoring sessions must be scheduled in advance through our booking system or by contacting us directly. Session availability is subject to tutor schedules.

3.2. Cancellation Policy

Session hours will be charged if booked and not attended. After 3 no-shows, the full session fee will be charged for each subsequent missed appointment.

3.3. Rescheduling

Sessions may be rescheduled in advance, subject to tutor availability.

3.4. Tutor Cancellations

If a tutor must cancel a session, we will provide as much advance notice as possible and offer alternative scheduling options or a replacement tutor when available.

4. Payment Terms

4.1. Fees and Pricing

Current tutoring rates are available upon request and may vary based on subject matter, grade level, session duration, and service type. All prices are subject to change with 30 days advance notice.

4.2. Payment Methods

We accept payment via credit card, debit card, and other methods as specified during registration. Payment information is processed securely in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4.3. Payment Schedule

  • Pay-Per-Session: Payment is due at the time of booking
  • Package Plans: Payment is due in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise arranged
  • Subscription Plans: Payment is charged automatically on the recurring billing date

5. Code of Conduct

5.1. Student Conduct

Students are expected to:

  • Treat tutors, staff, and other students with respect and courtesy

5.4. Violations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Services for any violation of this Code of Conduct.

6. Educational Standards and Limitations

We may conduct informal assessments to better understand student needs and track progress. These assessments are for internal use only and do not constitute official academic evaluations.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1. Our Materials

All materials, content, and resources provided by Inlighten Tutoring, including but not limited to lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, and proprietary methodologies, are our intellectual property and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without our written consent.

7.2. Student Work

Students retain ownership of their original work. By using our Services, you grant us permission to review and provide feedback on student work for educational purposes.

8. Technology Requirements

8.1. Online Sessions

For online tutoring sessions, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining reliable internet connectivity
  • Having a device with camera and microphone capabilities
  • Installing any required software or applications
  • Ensuring a quiet, appropriate environment for learning

8.2. Technical Issues

We are not liable for session disruptions caused by technical issues on your end. If technical issues on our end prevent a session from occurring, we will reschedule at no charge.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

10. Limitation of Liability
